Like most Pegasus, West Wind had dreams of aspiration and hoped to have joined the Wonderbolts. And unfortunately, like a lot of other Pegasus, West Wind just didn't make the cut. Not the worst flyer by any chance, but he just couldn't compete with other fantastic flyers.
Fortunately, however, he did manage to join the team. Just as a cheerleader as oppose to a flyer.
