All it takes is a twitch in time, the right pony at the wrong time, a helping hoof here, a bad decision there, and you find yourself in a universe that is very different yet not too unfamiliar. A much earlier friendship with a certain Cream Heart allows Delta Vee the perspective to see some things through and put some others behind. While being a single mother means she's had to give up some dreams, she now lives to see one grow up right before her eyes. And maybe, just maybe, with a little love, a little perseverance, and whole lot of fire extinguishers, she and the little one can one day pick up where she left off.
