(Crescendo steps out of the portal and looks around the new surroundings. He was aware it was a new universe, yet the castle looked the same.. But it felt colder. Quieter. He took a few steps foreward before being stopped by a sudden voice)

Galaxy: Hey! You! New guy.. So you're the one swapping places with Dusk Star, huh?

Crescendo: .. I am. My name is Crescendo. From the tone of your voice I can only guess you are Galaxy Guard?

Galaxy: What is that suppose to mean?

(Crescendo says nothing but walks up to her and stares her directly in the eyes)

Crescendo: I have heard plenty about you, Galaxy.. In fact, you are the reason I decided to make this little swap.

Galaxy: Oh, and whys that? If this is about what ponies are saying about me and my brother, thats none of your business!

Crescendo: Its about to be. *eyes start glowing white as he glares at Galaxy* Do you think youre superior? Do you think your strong, or powerful.. Or better than Dusk? Do you think you are more worthy of praise and admiration as he is? You are selfish.. And its time somepony put you in your place. *begins releasing his powers as shadows form around his body*

Galaxy: Wait.. W-whats happening?! What are you doing?! Those.. those wings..! You're.. *fearful tears start to escape her eyes as she cowers away from Crescendo* What are you?

Crescendo: I'm your temporary new brother, silly.. And I'll make you regret everything you have ever done to your brother!

I may not be the most active commentor, but I do love reading her Next Gen stories when I get the free time
Although they are usually always so dark, morbid or grim; Those kinds of stories are still viable topics and shes been brave enough to cover some pretty dark material.. Its actually inspiring in a way xD Drama does makes a good story, after all! lol

Ive been wanting to make some fan art of her NG universe for a while now, but I was never sure how to go about it.. Until recently.
Of course, I am always drawn to OCs that are sons of Twilight Sparkle; I mean, my first NG OC was Crescendo — Designed specifically to be Twilights son. I just have a weakness for them.. So naturally I really liked Dusk Star.

He always reminded me a little of my Crescendo.. But it wasnt until the reveal of him having a different father than his sister and being outcasted and all that really inspired me to finaly draw something. Dusk Star's story is a lot like Crescendo's; just a bit darker in certain areas. (Not like Crescendo's story isnt dark; His was literally dark lol)

I then started comparing the two siblings: Crescendo and Nova, Dusk Star and Galaxy Guard.

Crescendo was ignored and became jealous of Nova's love and admiration, raised without knowing his true father and disowning Flash Sentry as his dad.. Filled with so much lonliness and jealousy, he became corrupted.

Dusk Star was mistreated by his sister, emotionally abused, ignored by Flash; he too was lonely.

Similarities between Nova and Galaxy are pretty obvious; they are both second born, daughters of Flash Sentry who joined the Royal Guard. Nova, however, is patient and kind; whereas Galaxy is bitter, and unforgiving. They are basically opposite each other.

The major differences are that in the Pandaverse, Flash truely loves Crescendo like his own son, and Crescendo eventually learns that, and in the Pandaverse, Nova does not hate Crescendo; In fact, the two share one of the strongest sibling bonds in my NG universe.
Nova does not mistreat her brother as Galaxy treats Dusk.

So I decided with that in mind to draw an alternate universe life swap fan art in two parts!

In this piece, Crescendo has made it to the Kindverse universe, and well; Its not exactly looking good for Galaxy Guard.
(No, Crescendo wont hurt her; That goes against what he believes in.. But scaring the shit out of her as payback for her mistreating her brother was still an option lol)

I think Galaxy would prefer Dusk back.. After all, she just angered the heir of the Pony of Shadows! xD
