Here we have lovestruck Mudparty !
Thinking about these two gives me fuzzies, they are build on suppport, understanding and empathy.
I tagged as gay because canonically they're both male tho I am very much in favor of Party actually being trans, something about the absolute mess of a pony we met in the equalized 'our town' just red as insecure in their own skin and eager to please others, putting themselves behind everyone elses needs.
Sooo yah don't be confused if Party Favors pronouns mix or change in the future as I figure the blue child out.

Anyways, about these two ! ((previous post about Mudbriar >>1932562 ))
As previously stated, Mudbriar and Maud had a mutual breakup, they are still close, like-minded friends tho.
With nothing really tethering him to ponyville (or any other specific place for that matter) Mudbriar traveled for a bit, experiencing the changes in flora through different hemispheres and elevations as he moves further north.
This is when he stumbles over a newly blossoming little hamlet.
'Our Town'
At first he did not wish to stick around, the land was quite barren as the equalized ponyfolk had flattened out a huge plane of land to build their homes, but the pleasantly symetrical street lineup and surprising find of a newly laid orchard nearby, had the Stallion stay for a bit longer.

As someone who has a hard time socializing or relating to other ponies Mudbriar was used to being pestered and pushed out of his comfort zone.
All the more surprising that he met the towns party pony and was not shot with a full barrel of confetti as a greeting, instead Party favor gently greeted him, in fact Mudbriar later learned that he had met the blue pony at an especially bad time.
After the happenings of Starlights Mayorhood Party Favor struggled a lot, already existing issues with himself and the relationships around him, he now counted nightmares, mild PTSD and harsh anxieties to his basket of problems.
Of course the blue Party pony was not one to mope tho ! Who would turn things upside down with streamers and baloons and fanfare ! But sometimes all of that was much to much.
And for someone who's ment to always smile it's incredibly hard to explain to friends that he doesn't feel like smiling sometimes.

So when these two first met Party Favor prepared to roll his bad mood up, stuff it away and put on a bright smile for this newcommer but mudbriar was never the demanding kind.
Not a smile on his face he simply looked at Party Favor and turned to walk along the same way Party had aimed before, silently walking with the smaller unicorn.
It was quiet, and gentle and somehow just what the unicorn needed, without his knowledge.

After that first interaction they met more often, just spending time together in quiet, Mudbriar being roped into helping Party Favor carrying supplies and having himself be helped by the blue ones magic, as he still was clumsy with his own hooves.
So strangers became friends.
Friends became confidants.
Confidants became crushes.
And crushes became Lovers.
Party Favor swears that he was the one who asked Mudbriar out first, tho Mudbriar will just quietly shake his head, in his mind there was no moment their relationship changed, he just started feeling at home in the unlikely hooves of a cheery little blue unicorn.

Both Party Favor and Mudbriar have a lot of baggage but they still move forward despite it, both of them have had rough patches that they supported each other thru before, Mudbriar now lives in 'Our town' with Party Favor, and contently works at the local Orchard.
While they can enjoy silence together, Mudbriar often finds himself listening to the rambles of his SSP, talking about parties and songs and comotion that sounded like torture to him but he sure loved watching Party go on excitedly, wiggling and jumping around, excited and free of worries for a little while.

tldr: Party Favor might be Trans. MudParty are plagued by a mirade of mental issues but support each other happily, Party horse and calm horse is my aesthetic.
