When Glider was 4 months old, she actually learned how to write and spell before she learned how to speak. So, after a few weeks of practicing, the only way she could communicate with her parents was by writing on pieces of paper, but her words were still limited. One, day she walked up to Soarin' with a card in her mouth that had 'Hugs?' written on it, and Soarin' almost had a heart attack.
