Night Shadow is a background pony. Ignore her and the random tree in panels 1 and 2.

In panel 2 her hat fell to the ground when she flew upwards while drinking the bottle's contents. Since the PPG version of her does not wear a hat, I just left it on the ground.

The background in every panel after panel 4 is just blue because she is in the sky. You could also say she's transitioning from Equestria to Townsville.
