Before I get onto the story I'll say this now. This IS a remake of the first chapter with this story. Within redoing the next gen I'm redoing the stories. I did change up Ocellus's frills to be more like Chrysalis's mane.

I headcanonned that Ocellus was Chrysalis's heir to the throne originally when she was still queen for a couple reasons 1 being the fact that episode where she did end up being scared of becoming queen chrysalis. 2 being she looks SO different from any changling we've seen even from her own family

Anyways onto the story:

Ocellus was walking through the forest looking for her youngest daughter who had ran into the forest telling Sandbar to stay with the rest of the kids while she looked. She did regret going in alone.

Ocellus's ear twitched hearing a twig snap thinking it was her daughter she started turning around

Ocellus: Termite! Oh thank goodness you're oka-


Ocellus shrinks back taking in the form of Chrysalis

Ocellus: Ch-chrysalis! Wh-what are you doing here?!

Chrysalis: Well where else was I to go after you and the rest of my kind had betrayed me?

Ocellus: W-well…I-I mean you could've stayed at the hive w-with us…You just chose not to..

Chrysalis: I refused to give into those ponies and their "friendship"..Thats not what I'm here for anyways.

Ocellus: Wh-what do you want Chrysalis..

Ocellus really just wanted to Termite and get out. She was worrying about Termite now. But she didn't need to get into a fight with the old changling queen


Chrysalis: Oh Ocellus.You'll find out soon enough…

Before Ocellus could ask what she meant. She was gone. Ocellus didn't have time to ponder as she quickly goes back to finding Termite and leaving the forest. Making a mental note to talk to Thorax and Twilight later.
