Tūro, Vozolaz! ("Victory to Vozolaz!")

I chose Gilda here because she seems … inspirational (Maybe she would make a great teacher for Gallus, who knows?). Through one curious GIF and the thoughts influenced by it, she inspired me to start writing stories and making up worlds of my own!

In Vozonid culture, the gryphon is considered as a holy animal, as it represented the bygone Gauvajuts and their emperor, and by extension, classical civilisation and righteousness. Because the Vozonids consider themselves as the successors of the Gauvajuts, they and their emperors use white-headed gryphons as their national symbols. Gryphons in Vozonid art are commonly seen holding scimitars/khopeshes (like the servants of the dreaming god Zomjonor), representing their vigilance against evil and barbarism.

The number 16 is also considered to be auspicious to the Vozonids. As it is a multiple of 4 and 8 (which symbolise the directions), it represents a gradual process that leads to achieving higher intelligence and beauty. Whatever knowledge that was gained in the process is also used to improve others and strengthen the Vozonids' spacefaring civilisation, and alongside the gryphon, the number represents the simultaneous pursuit of knowledge and power.

The sign between the shield and the star is a crest that was used by the Gauvajut civilisation as one of their emblems. It appeared at its emperors' crowns and on the tips of their flags, and it symbolises honour.
