Ævrefreodeh was founded by Erebian pilgrims that wound up being settled in the edge of the Ævrefreweald by Shahanshah Celestia in 1886 BSE, and about half of the families that are part of the Ealdorwifmangemot/Mehtarzangamat are descended from the original Francian settlers; the Pommes, the main apple planters of the town, the Zaranyibardashts (formerly Recoltedors), who plant carrots, and the Berryes, who planted grapes and produced wine. 1 Despite the fact that Francian wine is very popular in Ereb, in Equestria, the gold standard for wine is the Arminan gini, and even though it's hard to compete, the Berry wine is somewhat popular in the area around Ævrefreodeh. In the picture, the matriarch of the family, Hodierne de Berry, her daughter, Pélagie (Berry Punch), her son-in-law, Edgar Astasaning (Black Marble), and her granddaughter, Melisende (Ruby Pinch).

I tried to come up with a way of making a character seem old, but not going into Granny Smith territory. Hodierne would be about 40 years younger than her. And since i couldn't find any images with a father for Ruby Pinch that wasn't Colgate and Ponet is Dinky's father in my AU already, i used this BP from The Best Night Ever.

Most of the clothes are based in medieval-early modern European working-class clothes. I went for a striped blue and yellow tunic for Marble because i couldn't think up any other color that wasn't either repeating the others or making him look monochrome.

About a week to complete this, and first time i try putting more than two characters in the same image. Once again, special thanks to St@SyaN.

~1 — The other half are the Spons, the Dhanmands and the Eruvandians, all natives that settled in the town. The Eruvandians, whose only member was the town mobad, already went extinct, but their spot in the Mehtarzangamat went to her granddaughter Wardagauna Karkadak.
