Bubbles and Summer Beauty were as thick as thieves almost since birth as their parents were especially close with each other, they had plenty of time to bond and become each others confidants. Throughout childhood they were teased about being marefriend and coltfriend but neither had any feeling for the other beyond a close personal relationship. This closeness traveled with them into adulthood.
