Ali's growing up chart Some more background on this farm horse~
From left to right:
Foal: Lil' baby Ali, too pure and happy for the world she would come to see. Being born as a runt, her parents (especially her father) kept a very close and protective eye on her, making sure she wouldn't get her. For her small size, that could be fatal. She stuck by her parents though, being a very cooperative baby.
Toddler: Ali, a little older now, started to grow into the family's fruit business. Whether that was helping her Pop-Pop plant seeds, or helping her mama water some plants, she always wanted to be a helping hoof. Though she wasn't allowed to do the 'big girl stuff' yet, Ali did as much as she could with a smile on her face and her pigtails held high, with her squeaky country accent.
Filly: This is part of Ali's life where things started to shut down. In the moment, it was a couple years after her mama left her and her father. Ali rarely smiled, and kept to herself unless she was with her father. She never really opened up to others her age, especially at school, and just doodled on her worksheets or sung country toons quietly to herself. Ponies noticed her singing over time, and when they'd say somethin', she run off into the woods and doodle some more.
Teenager: Being a teenager now, Ali worked on the farm day and night, while her Pop-Pop got some rest for becoming a little older. Her dad had become more fragile, so to speak, and Ali wanted to make sure he was happy and healthy. Nothing special at this age really, just becoming the mare she is now.
