So last year, I designed this girl on a whim. I wanted an ice-elemental pone but didn't wanna do just some plane-jane unicorn for it. I wound up coming to THIS design. But since I had so little time when I designed her, I gave ownership of the character to BlueberrySnow (aka Starlight Twist) of FA. I still have a bit of a creative say, so I thought I'd share her background and sketch. I'll eventually flesh this out into full color, but it goes a bit like this:

(I can't remember all the details, so bare with me while I grocery list it)
- She was part of a pegasus tribe in an arctic area (figuring they're more like snow owls than anything else, birdwise)
- I forget why but she was supremely envious of unicorns and their magic
- She prayed and prayed for years but to no avail until one day her anguish was responded to by Windigos
- They granted her an artifact: this crystal horn you see on her head. it grants her ice powers but at the cost of her loyalty to them…and the fact that it hurts her with brutal frostbite every time she uses it, though she heals rapidly after use
- as noted on the page, it hurts her enough that she cries and said tears are instantly frozen. If she isn't careful, her eyes will ice over completely

Star may wind up with other details for her at some point, but that's the story thus far. Stay tuned!
