Snowflake: What happened next, mommy?

Fluttershy: Well, your aunts and I figured out we didn't need the Elements of Harmony to defeat Sombra. The power was within us the entire time.

Snowflake: Because of your friendship?

Fluttershy: Yes! Exactly! And we beat the bad guy, sent him back to the Ether where he belonged!

Snowflake: What next?

Fluttershy: Well, there were other bad guys that came after Sombra, but when your aunts and I are together, those big baddies didn't stand a chance!

Snowflake: Huh.. So Sombra's still in the, "Ether" then?

Fluttershy: As far as we know, yes. You're safe here sweetie. *hugs her daughter* 

Snowflake: Well, that's not what I mean.. He did a lot of bad things, but…

Fluttershy: But?

Snowflake: Do you think there was still some chance of good in him? And maybe.. He's just lost?

Fluttershy: What are you talking about, Snowy?

Snowflake: Well.. Uncle Discord was a bad guy.. And you reformed him and now he's good! What if Sombra-

Fluttershy: Snowflake, Discord's situation was different. Sombra was a monster. What he did to all those defenseless ponies-

Snowflake: You mean like how Uncle Discord played with ponies for his own entertainment and tried to turn Equestria into a land of Chaos?

Fluttershy: No! It was worse than that! Snowflake, please try to understand.. Sombra put everypony in danger. Discord, he was different. Celestia knew I could turn him around.. But I'm afraid Sombra is a lost cause. *pats her daughter on the shoulder* I know how you feel though.. If there were any way at all to have helped him, we would've.

(Snowflake sat there quietly as Fluttershy put the book away)

Snowflake: *thinking to herself* I know all the damage he did.. I've heard all the stories, but- Something is telling me that can't just be it. There has to be more to him than that.. I need to figure this out.

Fluttershy: Alright now, Snowy, don't forget to feed the animals before you go to bed tonight, alright?

Snowflake: Yes, momma. *flies off towards the pen, mind swirling with thoughts and questions. She needed to learn more about him. She needed to find a way to get to the Crystal Empire*
