Loud music and drinks flying all around, it was the 5th birthday of the blessing. The stars shimmered in the night sky, seeming as if they were twinkling with happiness at the birthday cub. The howlers of all ranks were dancing, waving their tail or their wings. Laughter filled the air as the sweet melodies reached the hybrid's ears… Who was zoning out.

Beatz watched as she was sitting on a small throne made of quartz. She heard that this was made specifically for her but she doesn't see the point… Besides being the first hybrid to be born in the Quartz pack. She let out a sigh, feeling a headache rising at the loud music before feeling a warm presence behind her.

A smile automatically reached her face as she turned around and looked up to see Robin, her dad. "Papa!" She leaped onto his arms, causing him to laugh as he wrapped an arm around her. "How are you doing, pansy?"

She backed away, "I think I'm getting a headache…" She chuckled nervously. He laughed a bit at this and lowered his body down to whisper to her, "I saw your friend at the forest right there so you can go and take a break." Her smile went wider at this, "Itsuki?!"

She immediately, as always, stumbled a bit as she went through the dancing howlers and saw a pair of red eyes peeking through the bushes. She giggled at this and jumped straight through, earning a laughter from her hybrid friend. Meanwhile, Robin watched with a smile then he saw the Alpha looking at the empty Quartz throne with a playful look. Oh fuck…

"Your pack really go crazy on your birthday!" Itsuki exclaimed as both of them were walking through the night forest. Beatz giggled, "I guess so." The glowing chain on her head slightly luminated the way. "So, what did you want to show me?"

Itsuki smiled widely at this, "I found this bug and oh my Gods, just follow me!" He was too excited to continue as he started running. She laughed a bit and ran after him. The cold breeze blew against them as the critters began coming out to see the rebellious hybrids.

"Here!"

Itsuki immediately came to a halt, causing Beatz to stumble and almost fall. He knelt down, pressing himself against the grassy ground, "Come quick!" He whisper yelled.

Curiousty filled her as his excitement began showing more and more. She lowered herself down, slowly getting closer to the hairy leaf. He slowly slid his hoof under the leaf and lifted it up above their heads. A big bug along with 3 little ones were there, looking rather annoyed by the sudden attention.

Her eyes filled with wonder as she stared at them, "Ooo…" She cooed a little. "I know, right?" Itsuki whispered, staring at the Speddles. "They are really rare to find around and from what I've read, the females reproduce on their own." He informed her as she tried to listen intently without a nearby krug biting down on her other ear with a smile on its face.

The mother Speddle looked up, seeing two hybrids as she stared with an interest. "And what are those around it?" Beatz asked, gesturing with her head at the small ones around the mother. "Those are the eggs. I think they hatch in Summer." Itsuki thought out loud. Beatz loved hanging out with Itsuki because his bug fascination was always intriguing to her. She noted to tell Salamun about this mini adventure.

"Beatz?! Beatz!!"

Beatz perked up as her ears went up in attention, the krug flopping onto the ground at the sudden movement. Itsuki looked up at her before slowly setting the leaf down.

"Pansy?!"

"Oh… Papa is calling me…" She frowned as her ears went down, "I have to go back…"

"Awh, but I have so many things to show you!" He frowned and stood with her. "I know, but we can hang out tomorrow again, right?" She looked at him, hope in her eyes. He smiled at this, "Yes we can!" She grinned back, her ears going up, "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow, Suna!"

"You too, Munchi!"

She started running back to her pack, a smile on her face as she saw Celine standing there, looking deeper into the forest. "Mama!!" Beatz leaped onto her arms causing her to let out a huff as she fell onto her back, laughing as Beatz nuzzled to her fluffy chest. Although the day began with loud music, she was glad to feel finally at home.
