(Finally reaching the Canterlot Library, Snowflakes' eyes widened in wonder) Twilight: Canterlot is pretty great, isn't it? This library and I have a LOT of good memories! And.. um.. a few I'd rather forget happened.. *laughs nervously and looks away*  (Snowflake raises an eyebrow at Twilight) Twilight: What? It wasn't like I was late to return a book or anything and ruined my perfect return record and got my picture taken off the wall or anything! *eyes shift to Snowflake and she smiles* Forget I said that, lets go in! Snowflake: But don't you need to go visit your family? Twilight: I can go after you get your books.. I know this library like the back of my hooves; I can help you find anything! Snowflake: Yeah, I'm really not here for anything specific.. I just kinda wanna look around. Twilight: You.. Just wanna look around? *raises a skeptical eyebrow*  Snowflake: *takes a nervous gulp*  Twilight: *hugs Snowflake* You could be doing anything with your friends today, but you choose to spend the day reading at the library for FUN! Oh Snowflake, you're amazing! You remind me of.. well, ME! *laughs*  Snowflake: Cool! So uh, I'll see you later then? Twilight: If you promise not to leave the library until I come get you.. Oh, what am I saying? This library has so many amazing stories; Of COURSE you wont be going anywhere! I'll see you in a little while, Snowflake. Behave yourself, and pace yourself! I know it may seem hard to do, but trust me; You cant read every book in the library in the same day. Snowflake: Alright then, Princess. Twilight: Have fun! *flies off towards her fillyhood home*  Snowflake: *sighs in relief* I didn't think she'd ever leave... *enters the library*  (Snowflake looks around the room and is surprised to see how many ponies were currently in the library. She pinned her ears back and was trying to think of a way to find a book about Sombra without the librarians getting suspicious. Slowly, she walks up to the desk) Snowflake: Excuse me? Librarian: Hello there, little one! Welcome to the Canterlot Library! Is there a book I can help you find? Snowflake: Kind of.. *clears throat* I'm kinda doing this study on Equestrian History and there aren't many good research books on villains in the Ponyville library... So I was hoping- Librarian: History on Equestrian Villains? You're pretty young, are you sure this is your assignment, sweetie? Snowflake: I-I picked it! I find the stories about the battles the Guardians of Equestria fought fascinating! *feels a sweat bead falling down the back of her neck* Please, it took almost a moon to convince my teacher to let me study it! Librarian: Well.. I suppose I can find you something..  Snowflake: Just point me in the direction of the history books section! I can take care of it myself! Librarian: *makes an unsure face but nods* If that's what you want.. it's over that way; down the stairs. *points towards a staircase going down* But make sure you follow the signs. Snowflake: Yes ma'am, thank you! (Snowflake trots down the stairs and looks around. She sees the "Equestrian History - Non-Fiction" sign and begins heading towards it until she sees another sign out of the corner of her eye posted above a door.) Snowflake: "Equestrian History: Forbidden Files" That sounds exactly like what I'm looking for!  (Snowflake looks around for anypony, then trots towards the door and tries to open it) Snowflake: Ugh.. of course its locked.. *gasps and hides behind a bookcase*  (The door unlocks and another librarian pony enters the room. Snowflake waits for her to walk away, takes a deep breath and sneaks her way around the pony and slips through the door before it shuts behind her) Snowflake: I can't believe that worked! Alright, I don't have much time.. I need to find that book. (After about 10 minutes of looking, Snowflake finally finds a book focused on the history of the Crystal Empire.) Snowflake: Well.. now I know why some of these books are.. forbidden. *shakes her head to clear it and opens the book and begins to read* (About 15 minutes into reading, Snowflake lifts her head from the book) Snowflake: So.. Sombra WAS a good pony once! I knew it.. *keeps reading* "Accepting his fate, Sombra gave into the darkness from which he was created, and stole the Crystal Heart from Princess Mi Amore, only to be stopped by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. Sombra curses the kingdom to banishment and the empire and him vanish into thin air.".. An Umbrum, huh? Maybe.. maybe he didn't WANT to accept his fate.. Maybe he wanted to be good, but the Umbrum side of him was too powerful and corrupted him instead? *thinks to herself but then gasps when she hears the door opening again, hides the book under her wing best she could*  (Snowflake hears hoofsteps heading her direction and sneaks around the bookcases to slip back out before she was noticed. Her heart racing, she settles in behind the stairs to catch her breath) Snowflake: That was a close one.. *looks at the book she snuck out* Now how am I going to get this out of here without the librarian noticing? (Snowflake looks around for some normal history books and makes a small pile. Taking a deep breath, she walks up to the desk with a confident look on her face) Librarian: Did you find what you were looking for, sweetie? Snowflake: I did. I'd like to check some books out please. *puts all but the forbidden history book up on the desk and hides it under her wing hoping for an opportunity* Librarian: *starts stamping the books and notices the edge of the book under Snowflake's wing* Don't forget that one, sweetheart.  Snowflake: Oh.. right.. *nervously shifts her wing and slowly goes to put it on the desk when suddenly, the door opens and Twilight enters* Snowflake! There you are! I was worried you left without me! Librarian: Oh! Princess Twilight, you're back! It's always a pleasure to see you! You don't have another life long late return again, now, do you? *raises an eyebrow jokingly*  Twilight: What?! No, of course not! *whispers to her* I thought I told you not to mention that ever again! (While the adults were talking, Snowflake uses the opportunity to slip the book into the bag, unnoticed, and places another book of the same color on the desk)  Librarian: Well, you're always welcome here, Princess; No matter how late a book is. *stamps the final book and hands the bag to Snowflake* Now you learn from Princess Twilight's mistake, alright? I expect these books back on time! Snowflake: Yes.. Yes ma'am thank you! (Rushes out of the library) Twilight: Hey, hey, slow down! I know you're excited to read them, but we're going the same way! *catches up to Snowflake and peers at the bag* Sooo what books did you get? Snowflake: Uh.. just some history books. For school! Nothing too exciting.. Twilight: Oh, history is very exciting! Here, let me show you- Snowflake: No! Uh.. I mean, I want to read them myself. On my own.  Twilight: Well, if you insist.. Come on, I'm sure the train will be here soon; And I promise, if you want to read on the way back, I won't interfere.  Snowflake: Uh, thanks. *holds the bag closer, the rush of successfully sneaking a book out of the forbidden section still making her heart race* I might wait until I get home.
