this is an explanation of one part of the story where it used this symbol ":" to me it's just to show a list of the rumors and made up stories of how hyde could be or what he could do. i have a big hunch that it's used in that way is just i got all stressed because i like to see hyde as a good guy or at least have the potential to be good but of coarse doing stuff that jekyll can't do because of the time period (like hanging out with prostitutes, drinking and (if it happened) bar fights) also because when i get to the epilogue it will show how hyde feels with HIS own words teach a lesson plus a reward for the characters after learning.

it's like that one episode of mlp fim with zecora, ponies thought she was bad and stuff but soon got to know her and zecora actually turned out to be nice.

for future stuff here is a few things i will say so you can be prepared:

for jekyll: to me he was just being mean to hyde (and the book said so itself) and hyde does not like it and it also said stuff of the bad stuff hyde did but you need to look closer as to why i won't spoil it though

for hyde: he does not like to be hated by jekyll and the book actually said this too and despite what jekyll said hyde DOES have human emotions but due to his situation… well i'll wait till i get there

i really like to leave hints for a complete explanation but i have to wait
