Paid request to hand craft a art figure of Epona from the Legend of Zelda series, but as a dark version to her normal variant to go with a Shadow Link custom pony I made some years ago that this same customer purchased. So I made a saddle that the Link custom can fit in (Link custom pictured)

Horse base is a Grand Champion horse figure that I cut the original hair off of, then coated in white gesso to give the acrylic paint work a texture to bond to. Full body repaint in black acrylics, fetlocks hand painted in a gradient of browns/creams and white. Hooves painted in a dark brown/deep red. Eyes painted bright red.
I only sealed the brown muzzle and the fetlocks with artists varnish and let the black paint shine on the coat.

Mane and tail is faux fur glued over top of the original hair line, the tail is hand stitched, then glued/pinned in place.
Saddle is several layers of thick leathers, some thin vinyls used for the under-layers. Frayed dark red scarf material used for the cloth. Embellished details in chains, spikes and rhinestones. Added 6 red rhinestone upsidedown Triforces throughout the saddle.

Crafted a bottled poe in the brown bottle, by painted its eyes on a black bead, stitching the purple robe, wiring it to the bead and glued the white hair in place. Glass bottle attached to a string of “heart container” beads on floral wire, added a blue bottle on the other side as a potion and added similar string of beads.

Made a “dark Navi” on the tail- bright reddish orange transparent bead wired to plastic wings I painted and cut out from pony packaging.
