Flurry was excited, skipping down the hall happily as she went. Skyla had been in a bad mood as of late and she had wanted to cheer the mare up. While she was usually very grumpy, Flurry never stopped trying to reach her. They were sisters after all!
So to raise her spirits, Flurry loaned Skyla her favorite thing in the world. Her Whammy. She'd had it since she was a wee foal and it always brought her comfort and joy. She was sure Skyla would love it.
Just then, steeping from her bedroom, Skyla appeared. the sun had set so there was no issue with walking around freely even with all the curtains open. Spotting her sister, Flurry trotted over.
"Skyla!" She cried, rushing over to give the mare a hug. As expected, she dodged, allowing the smaller filly to hit the ground. "Ouch."
"Oh, it's you." Skyla sighed, sounded annoyed. "What are doing in front of my room? You know I don't want you here and-"
"Do you feel any better?" Flurry asked, not missing a beat. She was used to being shoved so she was quick to recover. Her eyes glowed with excitement, wanting to see her sisters reaction to her gift. Perhaps she hadn't found it yet?
"Better?" Flurry nodded and spoke excitedly.
"I saw you were in a bit of a sour mood yesterday so I left you a gift!" She said, looking up at the mare. Skyla frowned, clearly confused.
"A gift? Oh?" Skyla said, realizing what had happened. She stepped back into her room and pulled out the doll. "You mean this thing." She held up what was left of the doll, all torn up with the stuffing falling out. Flurry felt her heart clench at the sight though Skyla just casually continued. "I was wondering what this thing was. Figures it was from you." She dropped it on the floor, walking past Flurry, who now sat on her flanks staring at the doll. "Look, I don't care what you think you're gonna do but keep your trash outta my room, got it. And that does mean you too."

Flurry Heart adores her older sister, Skyla, despite her attitude. Skyla loathes Flurry, constantly rejecting the filly's attempts at bonding. This is one such rejection.
As the only one actually paying any attention to Skyla, Flurry always tries to reach out to her sister, asking about her well being and trying to cheer her up when she's down. Even though she has been cast aside consistently, either by words or violence, Flurry never stops trying, even when it hurts.
Skyla is in a bad mood but no one knows why and the only one who cares enough to ask is busy crying over her favorite doll.
