People had gathered to witness another royal visit. City officials were standing on a platform
while the crowds had gathered on its sides, leaving the front clear of people and vehicles.
"I heard that you really wouldn't want to anger these newcomers…" One man said.
"Oh, why is that?" Another asked. "I heard that they form into fiery beings when feeling anger." He answered.
"These ponies are so crazy…" The other man rolled his eyes.
"Not ponies, Kirin." The first one said, raising his finger.
"Whatever!" The second one rolled his eyes again, and was going to say something but he was
interrupted by booming sounds of steps that were closing. There was a gasp in the crowd when
the giantess came in to view, towering nearly as tall as the tallest buildings in the city.
She was clearly different from the ponies, even if as big as them; Her curly mane went
around her neck and her horn wasn't straight like ponies had but bend and split into
two at midpoint. Furthermore, she had scale like skin on her back and over her muzzle.
She stepped gently towards the platform and then stopped, speaking at soft, friendly voice. "Greeting,
little ones. My name is Rain Shine and I am the leader of Kirins. It is a pleasure to visit your world."
"She seems nice…" One woman said, craning her neck to look up at the skyscraper sized creature.
"I bet we looks like ants to her…" Another gasped, taken aback by her enormous size.
Rain Shine and the city officials ended their talks and she brought her head down, her chin almost touching the
pavement. "And hello to you too, little ones." She said sweetly, her talking causing a wind blow over the crowd.
"Uh… Greetings, your highness…" The little voices from the crowd answered, causing Rain
Shine to giggle slightly. This will be an interesting world to visit… She thought amused.
