A pony OC that I adopted from the adopts listed here: www.deviantart.com/blazeycrazy…My first time buying a pricey pony. I couldn't help myself. The ideas came crashing in the second I saw her.

When Sugar Skull was a young filly years and years ago ( www.deviantart.com/angelofthew… ), she used to have a best friend. This best friend was an imaginary friend of hers created by her subconscious, and as a filly, this entity in her mind used to help her feel so much better in the hard times she had years ago in her family life. During all of the difficult times she had, she always felt better around this being, she named Spawna.
Years down the line, as Sugar Skull began to grow older, she was beginning to see Spawna less and less, and soon enough, there was nobody there to stand by her side. With her mother a nervous wreck and constantly in hiding, and her father too busy with his job, Skully didn't have anyone else to associate with except for her cousin, Moonshadow Maltese, but once he had gotten himself a part time job, Skully didn't have anyone…
As a fully grown mare, Sugar Skull felt incredibly lonely. With everyone being super busy and swept up in their own lives, and her only busy work being helping Navy Nirvana as his magic shop, Skully had begun to find herself drowning in her emotions.

However, there was a day where this young, lonely unicorn found a spell that would change her life forever. It was a spell that could recreate the joys of a peaceful life as a child, where you were not alone, you felt like your dreams were neverending. Sugar Skull found a spell that could recreate her own subconscious as it's own entity.
Finally, she could create the imaginary friend she was best friends with so many years ago. It was amazing what opportunities there were that could come from this. It was truly going to make Sugar Skull feel better. The voice in her head that comforted her, the voice that told her everything was going to be okay, and the voice that created her imaginary friend as a filly… the opportunity was here to make Skully feel like she had her old friend back, to pick her up from the muddy waters.
Sugar Skull had researched that, in all ponies, the subconscious is a tool in the mind that is the reason for why some ponies may have imaginary friends as fillies. The subconscious is a supportive entity inside the mind that would help the pony in their decision making, which is why ponies often speak to their subconscious for guidance.

With proper dark magic preformed by a skilled pony, this pony can create a body for this hidden entity if they choose to, splitting their own subconscious from the pony's actual consciousness, and making a separate entity of that subconscious thinking. Sugar Skull decided to use a spell that would bring her old time imaginary friend back to life, using a spell that would reanimate her own imaginary friend from her subconscious as a pony of itself.

However, this plan did not go as perceived as believed, as Sugar Skull would have to process that the being, once given a body of it's own, was no longer in her mind at all. At first, the beautiful and kind imaginary friend of hers appeared before her in her home, with its long hair and shining coat. However, these weren't the same colors of her old best friend. This new friend appeared not at all happy, it's mane riding down and long against the ground, and its eyes white and misty. It appeared upset, lost and troubled, and with that in her mind, Sugar Skull quite couldn't think inside of her head well at all…
It was scary, her eyes staring back at the being that walked around the room. Psychosis knew exactly what Skully was trying to think in her mind, and knowing it, she repeated back to Skully the words she was trying to think, out loud, "Everything I'm thinking of- is… coming, out of you?" she questioned in surprise, as this being translated everything perfectly, and knew exactly what she had in mind. This being WAS her mind…
When Sugar Skull spoke, this imaginary friend would now only respond to the word "Psychosis", giving the pony her now present name.

Psychosis is a magically created pony who has the ability to move objects using the power of her own mind. She also has the ability to possess Sugar Skull in times necessary to make last minute or urgent decisions, being that she is now a completely separate entity who can make her own decisions differently than Skully, with more of a functioning mind. Psychosis is quiet, timid, and sad, often times giving other ponies a depressed look, or a look of worry. While she is not inside of Skully's mind, Skully is weakened, and can't think straight on her own other than preform small actions. While she is not inside of Skully, she can predict through her thoughts what Skully will be doing or is about to do. The sound of music boxes also sound charming to her, as it is her favorite sound in the world, and she constantly can't help but play Skully's music box at night as the unicorn sleeps.
However, only one demand remains from the dark magic spell book; Never allow the subconscious entity to roam outside of your mind as you sleep.
