It was early morning and the Princess of Love went up the steps into the spa. It was very early, but if royalty requested a treatment at the spa then it was so. Lately Cadance was carrying around her second child. It filled her with joy to know that Flurry would not be an only child. She'd always wanted more than one foal. That didn't mean it was easy bringing new life into the world, though. No. Far from it. At this stage it was very tiring and Cadance wanted nothing more than a little relief. She came in through the front door to find one of the mares, Serenity, waiting for her right next to a table with all the stuff needed for the treatments Cadance loved.
"Good morning, Princess." said Serenity.
"Good morning, Serenity." Cadance answered back.
Serenity then patted the table next to her. "Hop on and we'll get started."
Cadance did as Serenity said, and she laid on the table. She laid on her side so her belly stuck out.
"And how is the little one this morning?" Serenity said.
"Still sleeping." Cadance said as she rubbed her tummy a little bit.
"Okay," Serenity continued, "I'll take care not to wake him."
Then Serenity got started. She gave Cadance a back massage, and brushed her hair. She then took her tools and began to style Cadance's mane anew. For so long Cadance had been wearing her hair the same way. It was getting old so she wanted something new, even if it was for just a little while. Serenity got to work on it. She rolled up Cadance's mane until she created what seemed to be the most perfect bun anyone had ever seen. Many ponies had tried in the Crystal Empire to do this, but none were as good as Serenity at doing it. By the time she was done, Cadance looked like a brand new pony.
"Great job as always, Serenity." Cadance said.
"My pleasure, Princess."
The two then hugged and Cadance was on her way. She teleported to the doors to Flurry's room. She went inside and found Flurry still sleeping. Very carefully she used her magic to lift Flurry out of her crib and into her stroller. She then teleported the two of them down to the courtyard. Now Cadance could share one last morning stroll with her daughter before the baby came.
Cadance leaned down and gave Flurry a kiss on the forehead before pushing the stroller. "I love you, Flurry."
