This is the next cover art for Glory of the Sun by Celesti Lateo . This has been a long time waiting for me to actually finishing it, after actually starting it for over six months ago; not my finest moment but at least I can say that this is my best work as of yet. The reason that it had taken me so much time to do this piece was that there were several techniques that I was familiar, and had to start over certain elements at the time; namely the fire effect which wasn't easy to do at all and metallic gold shine on both ponies regalia and the engraving. The throne was also an issue but mostly because the fire effect was diminished because of it, and had to chop off about haft of what I had originally planned. For flame head Celestia I had tried to vector the whole thing on and use do a crisp clean finish on her with full great gradient work on it, but unfortunately it was only worth doing this for the feathers on the wind, as the rest I had abysmal results on it and at the end I just used my regular technique to do the finishing touches on it. Doing the alicorn colt was more of my usual fair work on it with a lot of attention was put in doing the main and tail look more natural. For a change, I started on the background with a fiery back drop and pillars which came out so well. I am happy with the results so far and I hope this marks a new mile stone in the quality of my work.
