Ever since they’d both gotten married, Hawk Eye and a certain former friend of his had been going on monthly double dates with their lovers for years. It was a nice way for them to catch up, and for each other’s spouses to get to know their friends as well. Firefly had certainly hit it off with her “brother-cousin” Ambrosia, and with Hawk too. Hell, she’d even volunteered to be the surrogate for their first child. So of course, after Firefly got divorced, she saw no reason to stop seeing her two friends. But now, she finally had a new date of her own to join them.

”Hey sis!” Hawk called out as Firefly approached the picnic blanket with a familiar mare. “You didn’t tell me you were Fly’s new girl!”

”I was going to, but I figured I'd let her surprise you," Turq exchanged a wink with Firefly. "Didn't see it coming, did you?"

"Not in a million years! But this is great!" Hawk pulled her into a hug. "My little sister finally found love again!"

Turq shrugged. "I don't know if you'd call it love, we seem to be more friends with benefits"

"That doesn't matter! You're still here!" Hawk grinned. "So whatcha think so far? Pretty sweet, right?"

"Yeah! This is fun"

They were suddenly interrupted by a loud hiss followed by a vicious spitting sound. Both siblings looked over to their dates, who appeared to be in a heated argument of sorts in some unknown changeling language.

"There they go again…" Hawk chuckled nervously.

"They always do this? I thought Firefly said they were friends?"

"I'm pretty sure they are. That's what Ambi says. And nothing bad has happened so I guess they're getting along. Whoop, here come the mandibles-"

*Meanwhile*

"YO! BRO-CUZ! GUESS WHO'S GETTING LAID AGAIN?"

"WE TOLD YOU IT WOULDN'T TAKE LONG! CONGRATULATIONS, SISTER-COUSIN!"

"I'M SO FUCKING GLAD I GOT DIVORCED! THAT LAST BITCH DIDN'T FUCK ME GOOD LIKE THIS ONE DOES!"

"THAT WAS TOO MUCH INFORMATION! BUT WE'RE HAPPY FOR YOU!"
