Starlight gritted her teeth and focused on the task at hand. Successfully reorienting the capsule for it's second motor burn. Her view of the monitor being periodically obscured by the spontaneous debris now floating around the crew compartment. In her mind she kept thinking the same thing over and over again.
The true mark of a professional is not how they perform when everything goes right, but how they perform when everything goes wrong.
Her silent mantra was broken by the other occupant of the capsule.
"Starlight! I spy with my little eye something that starts with T!"
Ignoring Trixie's comment for the 10th time she reached forward pushing several floating teacups out of the way as she typed in the final settings to the booster computer. With that accomplished she finally looked back at her mission partner.
"Let me guess. Teacups?" She said sarcastically.
The blue unicorn clapped her hands together. "Yes!"
The main comm link chirped. "Stardancer 1, Stardancer 1. Our monitoring wards are detecting a large number of floating objects in the crew compartment. Please confirm if this is true. If so what is the nature of the debris, and are you alright? Over."
Starlight toggled her microphone. "Canterlot Command. This Stardancer 1 we've had an incident involving an unplanned use of transmutation magic within the capsule. However we are fine and we are continuing with our mission. Over."
This is the 3rd drawing I started during my last Picarto stream. Which was space-themed to honor the landing of Apollo 11 on the moon.
