Kind of a repost? I wasn't really satisfied with the way these came out when I originally posted them, but my laptop died before I could go back in and polish them up. It all works out though, since these are good test pieces for my new setup, which is actually more problematic and squished than I want it to be…

I've mostly been of the opinion that changelings, as drones, are more or less genderless and by their very nature are unable to differ much from the rest of the hive, especially from a physical angle. I thought it might be an interesting challenge to play with variety in a design with lots of limiters. Dufour is mostly indistinguishable from her fellow drones, as equally devoted to the hive as all the rest, but her vast knowledge of semantics— her primary contribution to their cause— is ironically what stirs her forbidden curiosity of life outside of it. Her high ranking affords her some time to dwell on this, but until the hive is liberated her duties drown out any opportunities to pursue them any further.
