Welp, here's my piece of fanart of Ink Potts' latest animatic: 6.5/6 EL TANGO DE ROXANNE

I really liked how Ink Potts portrayed the iconic fight between Fernand and the Count by focusing more on the pony aspect by making the characters fight more like ponies rather than humans would by using swords and weapons. I’m absolutely up with the idea of the Count using the cloudy environment for his advantage over Fernand, because he’s a pegasus and he’s no match against a powerful alicorn with powerful magic, and I also liked how Ink Potts demonstrated Fernand’s power in the video to double clarify that. With this artwork I decided to focus on that thought.

I decided to draw Fernand using his alicorn magic once again during the “air fight” part of the animatic, where Ink Potts showed Fernand looking for the Count through the clouds.
I imagined him being so frustrated with the Count that he began to rampage with magic blasting through clouds all around him, while the Count was hiding and waiting for the right moment to attack (which of course turned out to be quite a challenge with Fernand's rampage). Fernand even used so much power that his body began to crack and tear from the magic he could hardly control through pain and rage.
Hope y’all like it! I had just as much fun to draw this piece as I had while watching the animatic!
