Amber checked that the collar on his new vault suit was straight for the 12th time as walked down one of the many corridors that made up Stable 69. He'd only been informed that the Overmare wanted to meet him in her office a few hours ago.
The pony/dragon hybrid had met Overmare Rarity several times before, but it had briefly after his arrival at Stable 69, and at a few formal vault gatherings. The Overmare always seemed to project an aura of confidence, leadership, grace, along with breath-taking beauty. For this reason Amber used a fair bit of his daily water ration for bathing, and had spent a portion of monthly stipend in the vault PX buying a new vault suit just for tonight.
As he the turned corner he could see his destination directly ahead. At same time realized that all of the other administrative offices were closed for the evening. He hadn't given it much thought up to that point, but regular hours for the offices were from 09:00 to 16:00. However here he was at 19:00 to meet the Overmare. Odd.
He was pondering this detail as he arrived at the door of the Overmare's office. There was a full length mirror mounted on right wall near the door. Amber one last look at himself in the mirror and then pushed intercom/doorbell button. After a few seconds a smooth, refined voice emerged from the wall mounted speaker.
"Yes. Who is it?"
"Amber. You wished to speak to me Overmare."
"Oh yes dear! Please come in."
A few seconds later Amber heard the lock on the office door disengage and it silently it slid open. A small corridor went for about 8ft before ending on the left side where the main office was. As he stepped into the Overmare's office he noted that it lacked the usual harsh, institutional quality of lighting. It was much warmer and softer. Reaching the end of the corridor he turned and looked to his left.
The first time Amber had met the Overmare he'd been impressed at how well she filled out a vault suit.
Tonight Overmare Rarity wasn't wearing a vault suit.
In fact she wasn't very much at all.
Sitting legs crossed on her clean, but rather utilitarian, office desk, Rarity was dressed like a mare from one of those pre-war pinup calendars. Corset, choker, opera gloves and hoses with garter belts of deep violet made up the mare's ensemble. Amber was trying to decide what to say when the mare spoke first.
"It's pre-war manufacture darling. A trader found it sealed away in a safe located in the basement of an abandoned department store in Manehattan. Miraculously it was in excellent condition and just my size."
Rarity tossed her head slightly to one side causing the long almost wave-like curves of her violet-blue mane to gracefully sway. There was a twinkle in her eyes when she spoke.
"Wouldn't you agree darling."
"That must've cost a heap of caps." Amber forced himself to keep eye contact as he spoke to the mare.
The Overmare began to slowly play with her mane with her right hand. "I can assure you it wasn't cheap, but rank does have its privileges."
Amber was aware of how things worked in Stable 69, so he was pretty sure he knew how this movie was going to end. Still he felt obliged to ask the question.
"And you summoned me here to your office because…"
Rarity uncrossed her legs. In that instant Amber realized that were was one piece missing from the mare's ensembles. The panties. Her face lit up with an impish grin.
"Darling isn't it obvious? I'm going to advantage of my rank and privilege tonight."
Continuing the series of Anthro MLP Fallout drawings for Skyline. This time it's Rarity.
