I like to think that Celestia method of ruling is akin to a Spring afternoon. Bright, cheery, a little cool on the breeze.
Antumbra would be that of the unrelenting wrath of the sun over the Death Valley.
I thought I'd draw Antumbra in one of her many suits of armor. This red one was a ceremonial suit she wore during her Ascension. You can still find it deep within the hidden tunnels beneath Canterlot. Out of sight, out of mind to most.
A fortune teller once compared her to a dragon and a lot of her armor reflects that.
