Bio: Sleepy Sheep was a surprise baby for a stallion and ewe couple— a .01 in 1000 chance of conception— and had to be delivered trough emergency magical intervention. Such an unexpected occurrence led to a confusing upbringing, to put it lightly.

While sleepy inherited mostly pony traits from her father (like a full mane and more pony-like teeth), some things stand out that prove her maternal relation. Sleepy's fur does not readily shed during the winter and summer seasons, instead growing into a thick, soft wool if left untended to. She also suffers from a more aggressive herding instinct than most ponies, making it extremely difficult for her to maintain some sort of self control in the midst of a mob; so more often than not, Sleepy had and does prefer to spend time with ponies who themselves are less likely to fall victim to herding instinct than her sheep relatives. (no offense to the sheep, of course.)

Sleepy also inherited the capacity for finding a special talent from her father— not that anyone would be able to see her skill without a demonstration; it has been confirmed through many psychologist and physician visits that she would never have a physical mark like her pony kin. Still the talent's very much there, because more than anything else, Sleepy Sheep prides herself in her skill of helping ponies (and sometimes sheep) sleep through the night. There's not been a single creature she couldn't help through a change in environment, soothing back rub, gentle serenade or all the above. Such a choice in career does not do very well with her own sleep, but she would argue that she doesn't need as much sleep as others because of her talent which needs her to be awake longer for the sake of her clients.

Some of her more frequent clientele are Fluttershy (who loves nuzzling into Sleepy's wool while she sings lulabies), Daisy, Lilly and Roseluck (the poor ponies are always a wreck before she hides under the bed with them) and the royal Princess Celestia (mostly as a glorified stuffed animal, and she tips generously). Being roughly half sheep, Sleepy benefits from government programs dedicated to the aid of tenant races to provide sufficient food, lodging and care by ponies free of charge; however she would rather work for her living, and works tirelessly to run her own personal business in Ponyville and across Equestria wherever she might go.
