Did a few day hikes in the Painted Hills and Blue Basin/Foree Areas in Oregon. This was the Red Hill Trail. The hill is red from the mounds of hardened red and orange clay, eroded down by rain into beautiful fragile formations. If visiting this area, please always stay on the trails at all times… the clay hills are soft, and footprints last for decades in this desert climate.
