This started as a practice doodle and turned into and entry for Equestria Daily's "Under-Appreciated Background Pony" art event. Merry May has been in the show since season 1 and I don't think I've ever seen art of her, and to be honest she never really stood out to me, until I went looking for a good pony to pick.
It felt great to finally get out a proper piece again, hopefully I can build up momentum and get more art out relatively soon!
