finally i got around to doing a proper next gen family lineup!! thought I'd start with the royal family,,be warned my pinkiedash family is hUge so i thought it'd be nice to start with a much smaller unit lol

their first born was their son, prince artemis, arty for short. thankfully for his two skittish parents, he was always a well behaved little colt. he adored being born with the title of "prince" and all the opportunities and fun things it entails, but he hated the assumptions all of his classmates made when he began public school. sure there was many who thought it was the coolest thing ever to have princess twilight's very own son in their presence, but there was also the others who saw him as snobbish and stuck up due to his title. in actuality, he was shy and didn't know how to treat his future people, so he used every opportunity he could to treat everyone with nothing but kindness and always offered a helping hoof.
he grew up with the same shy, soft spoken nature he had as a young colt, but arty's relationship with his parents as always been fine. they may not always understand his need to be alone, or just exactly what he's thinking, but he knows they mean well and he can always count on twilight for understanding how difficult it is to understand the importance of making friendships. so, obviously he's a mama's boy
when artemis grew up though, he felt the need to escape the prissy royal life to pursue his dream to be a famous writer. after venturing the coast, making lifelong friendships, and many mANY trial and errors, he finally got his first book published and it became an instant hit! he's now a very well known science fiction author, with much of his stories derived from the nerdy bedtime tales his parents would tell him.

daydreamer was their second little demon spawn. and yes, i mean it,,,dreamy was the complete opposite of her more gentle brother. her magical outbursts nearly destroyed the castle a few times, and she was quite the class clown, along with being the snobbish and stuck up royal kin that artemis feared he would be seen as. looking back, daydreamer cringes at the thought of how reckless she was. she's learned to use her powers a lot more diligently, and her personality has drastically improved thanks to her older brother. she hasn't always gotten along well with her parents, especially when she was a much more rebellious filly. as she matured, she realized just how much they cared for her, and everyday she's thankful to have such a patient mom and dad. she gets along very well with sunburst, who taught her everything she needs to know about magic. twilight's schedule has gotten more packed since artemis came along, so dreamy rarely gets mom and daughter time. it's frustrating, but she has no hard feelings towards twilight, she loves her all the same.
daydreamer grows up to be an interpreter of dreams, which you can guarantee are accurate because she works alongside fellow princess, luna!!

other than it taking forever and sacrificing a comfortable wrist, i had a lot of fun! i adore this shipping, and I've worked really hard perfecting some next gens for them, so i hope it paid off! see you all in the next, dreadfully long lineup!!! <3
