IronYoshi was completely devastated when he learned that Princess Celestia would be retiring from her position as Ruler of Equestria. Always her biggest and most prideful fan, he wanted to see his favorite Princess stay on a throne a little while longer. He then went to see Celestia, heartbroken at her decision to step away from her duties.

"But you can't retire, Celestia! You just can't!" IronYoshi said, tears running down his face. "What would our kingdom be without you?"

"My dear subject," Celie said, in her ususal, calming voice. "I have been on the throne for thousands of years. I have watched over Equestria, watched it and its ponies grow, and kept it safe in the process, with a little help of course. I feel that now it is my time."

"B-but it's not fair!" IronYoshi sobbed. "No one could ever replace you! I don't want to see you go! Please! Stay a little longer!"

Celie pulled the sad, red unicorn closer to her, to comfort him.

"To deny anyone the freedom to make their own choices would be unjust. I am not going anywhere, my dear. I will still be here. My successor will be the perfect choice to rule in me and my sister's absence. But I will still remain here in Equestria. You can guarantee that."

IronYoshi started to feel a little better as Celestia wiped away his tears. Knowing that his dear Princess will still be around, albeit no longer in charge, made him feel a little better.

He got himself together and proceeded to speak again. "I just want to let you know that, not matter what, you will always be my favorite, Celestia. Forever and more."

Celie blushed. "I know, my dear. I know." She said as she gave him a warm hug.

Who would have thought we are this close to this show ending? I knew t would happen, but I didn't expect it to come so soon. I was only 13, in the 8th grade when the series first premiered. Now I'm 22 and in my 4th college year. Even though I wouldn't start watching the show until 2014 and actively participating in the fandom for around the same time, it feels like I've been apart of it for just as long.

We may have had our ups and downs, but I am still glad to be apart of this fandom. I'll still be here even after FIM has ended, and who knows what surprises lie ahead for G5. I only hope that Celestia will be there to greet us in that time!
