From left to right:

Dark Sky: A loyal, sweet, hard working father. He generally wants the best for everypony, and cares deeply about his daughters. Though he tends to keep his attention on the youngest of the two, he loves them both evenly. He was kind of hard on Nebulous when she was growing up, as he wanted her to be the perfect royal guard daughter a bat pony father could have. She obviously went a different direction with her talent, but if he knew he would be heartbroken. He's done through two divorces after all.

Starry Moon: This little filly is a barrel of laughs, and loves getting out of the house and playing with her friends. She's pretty popular with ponies in her school, but isn't as big of a tomboy as her sister. Starry is a little more girly, but has a touch of guard in her. Her dad obviously wants his daughter to be in the guard like her sister, but Starry isn't quite sure what she wants. She already has her cutie mark, but she isn't sure. Her and Neb never really had a close relationship, because Neb was always off doing her own thing. Kind of sad.
