Octavia held her new baby colt. Her and Ivory thought of what to name him. Eventually they decided, since he was born in Ponyville, a rural area, and since they knew he'd be the best violinist in all of Equestria, they decided to name him Lightning Bow. One of the doctors came in and asked Ivory for help. As he stepped out, that stallion Octavia saw a few weeks ago was walking in.

"Who are you?" Octavia asked.

"I'm the Doctor." He said.

"Okay, doctor. What is going on?"

The stallion sighed, and said with heavy hearts.
"The filly will not make it. One of the arteries don't work right, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."

Octavia gasped at this news, but no tear was shed. It took her a bit to digest this. She looked down at her colt, then looked back at the Doctor.

"Can I hold her, one last time?"

The doctor smiled, but no one could see it. He had a mask on.
"Of course. I commend you for your bravery." He saluted with his left hoof, and left the room.

Once it was only her and her son, Octavia held Lightning close, and sobbed. The little one felt his mother's fear, and began to cry as well. Mother and son wept.
