Nicknames: Rosie, Rose Quartz, Rose, Sour-Puss
Rosie was the result of Shining Armor and Cadence realising their children are growing up incredibly fast and wanting more babies. Rosie is significantly younger than her siblings, being at "CMC" age when both of them are already adults. Due to that, her family is incredibly over protective over her and made Rosie find more and more ways to get away from it all.
Rosie is free spirited, bossy and demanding. Larimar likes to call her 'Sour-Puss' due to her complaining and frequent negative mood. Her negative persona comes from wanting to do so many things, but being restricted from it all. Rosie is like a bottled up emotion, ready to completely burst. She's very indecisive, animated and has many hobbies. She also thinks of herself as to be better than other ponies due to her status as Princess.
Cadence and Shining have somewhat of a difficult time with Rosie, due to both of her siblings being such easy children to raise. Their old parenting tactics simply don't work on her.
Rosie grows out of it all gradually, starting with when Larimar knocks some sense into her (not literally) about being better than other ponies and her finally 'bursting' and being allowed to do what she wants (within reason…). She remains a bit snobby and snooty, but at least finds her manners when in public and keeps her opinions to herself. Rosie is the one who eventually takes over the Crystal Empire, with Callie preferring leading the Royal Guard and Larimar liking his Ambassador job. Her bold personality and knowledge coming from her many hobbies help her rule the Empire, with the help of her siblings. (But for now Rosie is a tiny ball of anger).

I named her after the cliche 'Rose Quartz', because although I preferred Rhodochrosite as my pink crystal of choice, I doubt Cadence and Shining would be cruel enough to name a child that.
