Professor Jolt decided to start an expedition after Snowbelle TreeFrost brought him some strange ice rocks, after some hard research, Jolt decided to check his hypothesis, his other friends decided to accompain him: Snowbelle and Dojo Slam wanted to meet the mine, Swarmdra wanted to take some pictures, Cyrax wanted to go to any help Jolt needs, and Fried Egg to bring some of these ice rocks to his family.


The magical ice mine is a cave ubicated in a mountain, on the north of the Crystal Empire, which a long time ago, eskimos tended to extract the ice rocks for medical purposes, the cave it's too cold that the ponies that want to visit it need to go well sheltered, when it rains in the mountain, the mine becomes colder, and it's what originates more ice rocks due to it's external filtrations, these rocks don't melt if they are exposed to any heat source, not even by the sun rays, in change, it makes them glow in darkness when exposed to the sun. Some snow can be sighted occasionally in the mine's floor, which is made of non-slippery ice.
