It's funny to think we saw the future with such a naive perspective. Sure, the world of "Blade Runner" wasn't exactly a bed of flowers, but it had enough wonder and beauty in it that even the harsher realities had a fairy tale quality to them (even if just as a surface varnish). Nowadays we might be closer than ever to live in a Cyberpunk society, but that's more internalized than anything else. That's a discussion for another time, or if you're up for it feel free to talk about it in the comments below.

I don't see the need to say what I thought of "Blade Runner", as my opinion on the movie hasn't changed. This comic is more about the state of the Tumblr Pony Ask Blog community more than anything else, but even that is a spiky subject. I was never big into said community, just staring at it from my own hole in the wall, but from my experience Tumblr hasn't been a reliable platform since 2015. The way Tumblr works and manages its information is faulty at best and negligible at worst. The reblog system and allowing 10 images per post is perhaps what keeps me using it, but the moment something similar comes up I will up and walk out onto greener pastures.

Much like the end of "Blade Runner", the end of this era fills me with melancholy but also a sense of closure. It's not a perfect closure, and there's things that could've been done better, but it's an ending nonetheless. I will keep updating Movie Slate, though. I have no reason to stop, especially now that I've cracked the code on how to churn out fast updates with a modicum of detail.
