Adding Slendermane characters to the mix of the next gen, this one is Luna, Princess of the night, paired up with my oc Cross-eyed, Slendermane's proxy. A little story between these two, I'll make it quick for some of you. One night(sometime before she gained her current form above) when Luna was sleeping Cross-eyed snuck into the castle, entered Luna's room to murder the filly. Reason he was going to do this because the Slendermane ordered him to do it, and that causing Luna's unfortunate demise would completely devastate Celestia to the point of deep depression, causing her to lose focus and so, leave Equestria exposed, ripe for the taking. Unfortunately, Cross-eyed never expected Luna's state, to which she was defenseless. He pulled the covers from Luna's bed, only to lay "eyes" on a mere filly in her teenager years. Cross-eyed readied his acquired weapon for the kill…but…something else happened. He could feel her presence in front of him…sense not fear, but forgiveness. The proxy dropped his weapon and to unknowingly have the reaction from the filly to which she given a heart warming smile that even the Proxy could feel it. Later on when Luna became Princess, the two met again in the Everfree Forest…

That's all I'm gonna say for now before I start to tear up wipes tear from cheek

So yeah, due to Luna and Cross-eyed hooking up, Celestia and Slendermane made a peace treaty and so the secret war ended. Celestia did it so her little sis could be happy, the Slendermane did it because he didn't want to lose a proxy to Celestia, both sides have more reasons for ending the war then the two I gave.
