Apparently, saddles and bridles have been known to have a rather cough, different more "adult" meaning in Equine society. However to the prince its just a regular saddle and bridle for a pony ride with his father.
As for Speedy Hooves, the knowledge of such "meanings" of a saddle and bridle or "pony ride" are well known by this stallion of stallions.
Nevertheless, Speedy Hooves can swallow the pride of his component stallions and give his son some entertaintment as well as bonding time between him and his boy.
