I want to do a small bio for everyone to understand why she is an alicorn, but I think it would be best to save it for the reference sheet of her.

But, the classic "rainbow" hair needs to be clarified. I believe that alicorn's appearance grows in two different ways, with their element/special talent or the moral lessons they learn. Luna grew in her element/special talent while Celestia grew in her morality and experiences she's encountered.

LaNora is growing with her element. When she is fully grown, her mane will be a waving Aurora Borealis. The colors of her mane are not only a reflection of the Northern Lights, but also emotions. The darker shades are negative emotions such as sadness, fear, anger, and wrath, while the brighter ones are positive, such as happiness, passion, confidence, and love.
Her primary hair color remains as the color of her bangs.
I'll clearify her special talent once I post her "official" cutie mark!
