My OC's from my series Coquette Dragoon as ponys… my idea was that Bell's wings would resemble her cloak… as for their cutie marks, both of them ended up being their names, but for different reasons. For Honey, that was a name she chose for herself when she became nobility, and as for Bell, she was always fond of her first name as something her mother gave her….
I need to make some posts about it, but I have a comic/illustrated prose series you can read over at coquettedragoon.com!
