Fluttershy's family is a lot easier to explain. Sort of. There was an event that I will elaborate more on later that Big Mac helped resolve and he gave her unconditional support when she was dealing with it.
Overtime they grew close to each other. They are married but they have no kids. There's two reasons they have no kids but I'll delve into that later.
All you need know right now if that Big Macintosh and Fluttershy are perfectly happy being DINKS (Dual Income No Kids). I may or not give them an adoptive child later on but for now, no kiddies.
