Artist's description from DA:One of the few certified weather ponies in Ponyville, Rumble developed a bit of a Rainbow Dash attitude, in that he is the shit and no pony is better than he. He marvels in the fact that he is faster than Scootaloo and can be annoying if he rubs it in too much. He doesn't mean any real harm about it though, in all honesty he can have some pretty serious insecurities. Especially since he has the idea in his mind that he'll never ever be as cool and fast as his older brother Thunderlane.
