On the night of October 31st, heroes and villains put aside their differences and decide to go out and have fun trick-or-treating! This is a digital drawing I made back in October 2019 depicting various characters from the Crash Bandicoot franchise dressed in Halloween costumes. It has been a very long and exhausting project as it took me over 65 hours to complete but I’m quite proud of it! Here is a list of all 24 characters and their costumes. Outside from Cortex dressed as Pinkie Pie, there's not much reason to have this on Derpibooru.
Crash Bandicoot — Angel
His angelic form from his death animations.
Coco Bandicoot — Jimmy Neutron
They’re both voiced by the same actress, Debi Derryberry.
Crunch Bandicoot — Superman
They’re both very strong, not much else to say.
Joyce Devil — Bunny
If you’re wondering who Joyce Devil is, she’s the Crash persona of the DeviantArt user, Harmony—Bunny. She frequently favorites my artwork and including her in this drawing is my way of thanking her.
Dr. Cortex — Pinkie Pie
I like to imagine that he’s a diehard Brony and he’s very proud of his pony costume!
N. Gin. — Ballerina
This is one of his skins in Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled.
Tiny Tiger — Gladiator
This was inspired by the first boss fight in Crash Bandicoot: Warped.
Pinstripe — Robin Hood
Sitting on Tiny’s shoulders is Pinstripe Potoroo. He’s going through a phase where he’s obsessed with firing arrows instead of bullets.
Dingodile — Firefighter
According to the end credits of Nitro Fueled, Dingodile became a firefighter trading his flamethrower for a water hose.
Komodo Joe and Komodo Moe — Laurel and Hardy
The Komodo Bros. are dressed as Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, a classic comedy duo from the early-mid 20th century.
Baby T. — Yoshi
A YouTube user named TyrantKing10 jokingly mistook Baby T. for Yoshi in his Let’s Play of Warped.
N. Tropy — Doc Brown
They’re both about time travel, and that’s about it.
Polar and Pura — Simba and Nala
The Lion King was one of my artistic influences and I thought they would look very cute together.
Tawna — Marilyn Monroe
Marilyn Monroe is one of the most iconic sex symbols — although Tawna’s design was actually based on actress, Pamela Anderson.
Aku Aku and Uka Uka — Yin Yang
The Aku Uka Bros. have opposite personalities so it only makes sense to dress them as the yin yang symbol.
Papu Papu — Shrek
Simply put, they’re both very large figures and I like Shrek.
Nina Cortex — Dracula
Nina already looks like a vampire so it only makes sense to dress her as such.
N. Brio — Frankenstein
He is dressed as Frankenstein for the same reason why Nina is dressed as Dracula.
Penta Penguin — Kessie
Kessie is a character from The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh(a very underrated show BTW) and she first appears in the episode, “Find Her, Keep Her”. It’s such a heartwarming episode that can bring some people to tears.
Ripper Roo — Needles Kane
The Twisted Metal character is known for having a flaming head and Ripper Roo would definitely set his head on fire just for fun knowing his demented personality.
Nitrous Oxide — Squidward
A YouTube commenter pointed out that Oxide resembles Squidward in his shower cap skin.
