Quu literally emerged from Naya when she was little; one day Discord and Celestia thought little Naya needed to burp, so Dad patted her on the back and Oops, she spit out a ball of hair that then began to move and turned into a furred parasprite. (Funfact: Quu is unable to create other parasprites, which is the only thing that saves her from remaining as her pet in the castle.)
