This glass has a somewhat longer history. It was one of my first attempts at engraving a colored glass, shortly after I started engraving glass in 2018. The entire glass used to be light blue. However, there were two problems with it. On the one hand the white engraved lines didn't stand out very well from the light blue background and (more importantly) it turned out that the glass itself wasn't light blue but that it had only been colored on the outside with a rather poor color that quickly showed scratches which made the entire thing look just ugly. So I had pretty much abandoned the glass with the engraved outlines and the scratchy light blue color for more than a year. Recently I started to feel sorry for the glass though and removed all of the light blue color with steel wool. After that I proceeded to paint the engraved Rainbow Dash and here we got the result at last and Rainbow seems to be happy to at long last be done with that long waiting time ;)
