Like any young unicorn studying magic, Crescendo needed to take the entrance exam to attend Magic Kindergarten; As his mother did so many years ago, back when Princess Celestia was still in charge of the school. Like his mother, Crescendo was given an egg for his final test. Hatch it, and he was free to attend the school. From the simple speckled design on the egg's shell, Crescendo knew it, too, was going to be a baby dragon; Much like the egg Twilight hatched for Spike. Knowing dragons require intense heat to hatch, Crescendo knew exactly the spell to use, and within moments of the exam beginning the pink egg began to crack. At first, Crescendo was worried all he did was break the egg; that he had accidentally harmed the baby dragon within it.. Until finally the top of the shell flew off, and a tiny brown baby dragon emerged from the egg and looked up at him with bright silver eyes. Little miss Aphrodite was born; And from that day on she never left Crescendo's side.
