As a lot of you probably saw in one of my newest posts, I planned on altering characters in my Pandaverse to help match the series finale canon shippings. I know this isn't something I HAD to do, but it is something I want to do.

Next alteration: Adding Big Mac and Sugar Belle's canon child; which I named, "Apple Jam [aka AJ]"

I know the majority of the fandom gave him the name, "Big Sugar"; but I personally hate that given name…
Big Sugar is literally just a shipping name. It's so silly to me to name a foal after their ship lol

So after some deciding and help from a recent poll, I decided to give him the name "Apple Jam".
Apple, for the Apple family name, and Jam for his coat color.

Giving his name is Apple Jam also means his nickname can be, "AJ"; which is a namesake to his aunt, Applejack.
So in a way, Big Macintosh named his son after his sister. (In my universe)
And I think that headcanon is really sweet.
