I finally got around to making a more current version of Scorpan. I took the one from this pic and updated him a bit to make him look older and kingly: https://www.deviantart.com/aleximusprime/art/Prince-Scorpan-and-Prince-Tirek-822475798


As you can see, he's a king now. Since Tirek went nuts, King Vorak named Scorpan the successor to the throne of their homeland (still haven't figured out a name for it yet and I don't think they give one for it in the comics). He gave him his crown and the king's robe that we saw Vorak wearing in the comics.

And yes, that is the Staff of Sacanas from the MLP movie. Scorpan was supposed to be in the movie and be the one who owned the staff until the Storm King stole it. It's too bad we didn't get to see that actually happen, but his concept art made him look like he was supposed to be a king so I guess it just adds more credibility to my theory. At some point, it would have been returned to him and he would definitely have it during the events of my fanfic idea for "Flurry Heart's Story." Both he and the staff will play an important role or two in the story at some point. Scorpan and his brother will have to face each other once again eventually and it's going to get pretty brutal!
